Degree & Enrollment Verifications

To conveniently serve students, prospective employers, and other organizations who require degree and enrollment information, Â鶹´«Ã½ is a participant in the . The Clearinghouse is a repository for enrollment status information and was established to simplify, standardize and automate the status verification and deferment process. The Clearinghouse, the University's agent, will provide student enrollment information to the guaranty agencies, lenders, and other officers.

Note: The University submits information to the Clearinghouse three times during the term (after the first week of class, at midterm, and at the end of the term) and that it may take up to three weeks after these submissions for information to be available from the Clearinghouse.

The provides a self-service site to:

  • Obtain an enrollment certificate
  • View enrollment information on file
  • View student Loan deferment notifications
  • View proof(s) of enrollment
  • View information about student loans

 

â–¼   How to obtain an Enrollment Verification

1.       Go to www.southalabama.edu

2.       Click on Logins on the top right-hand side then select Students

3.       Click on PAWS and log in with your J Number and password

4.       Click on Student Services and Financial Aid

5.       Click on Student Records

6.       Ensure you select the correct term above your student picture

7.       On the left-hand side menu, click on Enrollment History/Degrees Earned

8.       You may need to accept MyHub's policy and set up a two-step authentication

9.       From the MyHub dashboard select Self Service

10.     Select the Â鶹´«Ã½ from the 'Select a School' drop-down box

11.    Select either 'All Enrollment Certificates' from the 'Select a Certificate Type' drop-down box

12.     Click the 'Download Certificate' button

Enrollment Verifications will not be available until the last day to add/drop from a term.
Verifications requiring academic information, such as GPA, must be requested in
writing. Complete the Request for Enrollment & Degree Verification form (PDF) and
return to the Registrar's Office by mail, fax, or in person. We do not fax completed
enrollment certifications.
