Summer 2025 Study Abroad Opportunities in Communication
This program is a 6-week study abroad semester from May 12-June 20. You will choose up to 6 hours of course credit from the courses listed below. We will spend two weeks in class before departure (in-person or Zoom), two weeks in Greece from May 26-June 8, and the final two weeks in class to wrap up the semester with final projects/exams.
This interdisciplinary, faculty-led program will provide you an opportunity to learn about advertising and public relations (APR), culture and communication (CA), and hospitality and tourism (HTM) on an international level. You will be immersed in Greek culture by learning the language, lifestyle/traditions, cuisine, history, and media landscapes of Greece. Experiential learning activities will include: visiting museums, historical sites, vineyards, coastal areas, learning about the local culinary scene, Greek dance lessons, and more. There are also days built into our trip for you to have down time or explore independently. For the full itinerary, click here. This program is open to all students.
The cost of this program is $5,499. The first 10 Â鶹´«Ã½ students who commit to the program and complete the "Study Abroad Conditional Scholarship" in JagSPOT will receive a $350 scholarship, making the cost just just $5,149. Additional scholarships are available through JagSpot and the study abroad website.
A $350 deposit is due by application deadline on February 14, 2025 to confirm your participation in the program.
