    Improving Bone Health Using a Nurse-Driven Fracture Liaison Service Model of Care.
    The goal of this study is to examine the impact of a nurse-driven referral screening to a fracture liaison clinic designed to identify, treat and manage osteoporosis. The study is also examining the impact of the fracture liaison clinic on osteoporosis education knowledge, fear of falling, and physiological parameters.

    Integrating Clinical Situations in the Classroom to Improve Students’ Attitudes toward the Elderly Population and Identification of Common Healthcare Needs of a Vulnerable Population.
    The goal of this study was to improve nursing student’s perceptions of caring for and working with the elderly patient population, using team-based learning as a pedagogical strategy. The study also examined contributing qualities of team-based learning that influenced student perceptions.
